Job Summary
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for properly installing and inspecting tires on company tractors and trailers at customer sites and rail yards. The position may require outdoor work, working in the elements, and working across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends and overtime; full‑time attendance is required.
Key Responsibilities- Install and inspect tires on tractors and trailers using company guidelines.
- Observe all company safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Organize and maintain tire inventory for trucks.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, including OSHA requirements, while at customer facilities or rail yards.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass J.B. Hunt standards for operation of a company vehicle.
- Basic tools required to successfully perform this role (to be supplied by the employee; employees without their own tools may obtain them through a toolbox purchase program).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 6 to 12 months of tire‑related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; valid driver’s license and ability to pass J.B. Hunt standards for operation of a company vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team (no direct supervision).
- Ability to multitask, exercise discretion, and make time‑sensitive decisions.
- Basic deductive reasoning skills.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient active listening, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Self‑motivation.
- Physical capability to lift above 50 lbs, bend, stoop, push, and pull.
- Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE).

CompensationStarting pay may be affected by skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications. The position may be eligible for an annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volume, in accordance with the company’s bonus and incentive plans as applicable and in effect from time to time.
