Aircraft Technician
This role focuses on performing line maintenance and airworthiness activities on passenger aircraft, ensuring that all work meets approved technical standards and supports safe, on-time operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, and return aircraft to service while working in a fast-paced flight line environment at a major airport.
Responsibilities- Perform on-call and scheduled line maintenance on a variety of customer aircraft in accordance with approved technical data.
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems to identify faults and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble aircraft sections and components to restore full functionality in line with customer-provided technical documentation.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks and complete airworthiness releases within the scope of your approval to return aircraft to service.
- Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components to ensure safety and reliability.
- Work efficiently to meet established deadlines and performance goals while maintaining high quality standards.
- Follow all applicable maintenance procedures, documentation requirements, and regulatory guidelines during all work activities.
- Operate vehicles and equipment safely on the flight line in compliance with airport and company policies.
- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance with a focus on line maintenance activities.
- Hands-on experience with airframes, aircraft assembly, and aircraft maintenance practices.
- Experience working on wide-body or narrow-body regional passenger aircraft.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from approved technical data and maintenance documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for aircraft systems and components.
- Capability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble aircraft sections and components accurately.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and complete airworthiness releases within authorized scope.
- Valid driver's license suitable for operating vehicles on the flight line.
Skills & Qualifications
- Airframe experience required.
- International training in aircraft maintenance preferred.
- Experience as an aircraft technician on A320 aircraft preferred.
- Completion of at least 40 hours of A320 General Familiarization (Gen Fam) training preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required airport badging access.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a dynamic operational environment.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based on the flight line at a major international airport, working directly on in-service aircraft. You will operate in an active ramp environment that requires airport badging access and adherence to all airside safety and security procedures. The role involves working around aircraft, ground support equipment, and varying weather conditions, with rotating shifts to support around-the-clock operations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
