• Commercial Drivers License (CDL) – Class
  
  A.
• Haz Mat Endorsement (required).
• Tanker Endorsement (or the ability to obtain tanker endorsement after hire).
• A good driving record (acceptable to our insurance carrier).
• Commercial driving experience – None required; however, applicants with 1 year or more of CDL driving experience are preferred.
• We provide training on all aspects of safely transporting and handling propane; however, prior experience transporting flammables would be a plus.
• High school diploma, GED, or the ability to demonstrate reading and writing (in English), and basic mathematical skills comparable to a typical high school graduate.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely, independently, and productively.

• Route Delivery Drivers must professionally interact and communicate with customers on their route.
• Daily routes include multiple “live unload” deliveries falling into the following 3 delivery types:
  • Exchange empty propane cylinders for filled cylinders.
  • Pump propane from the delivery truck bulk tank into customer’s dispensing system.
  • Fill propane cylinders on-site from the delivery truck bulk tank.
• The normal work week is Monday
  - Friday with some flexibility on shift start and stop times.
• Route Delivery Drivers also rotate “on-call” coverage (one week every 6-8 weeks) for emergency night and weekend deliveries.
• Some overtime (mostly due to seasonal demand spikes).
