Position Summary
Responsible for driving the Mobile Unit throughout the state of Georgia Performs duties in the safe operation of a motor vehicle and the transportation of individuals, as well as skilled work in the mechanical maintenance and repair of automobiles, trucks, related equipment. Must be able to effectively communicate with staff, patients, and other visitors. Provide driving services to different scheduled addresses and through routes and follow all Federal Department of Transportation, state, and local regulations, as well as all company safety and travel policies.
Follow routes and time schedules as assigned. Provide superior customer service to ensure high quality and complete customer satisfaction. Must be willing to work shifts that require an adjusted schedule, based on the scheduling of community health fairs (e.g. weekends and some holidays);
Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate assigned vehicle(s). Ability to maintain accurate travel and vehicle maintenance and repair logs. Ability to read maps, estimate trip times. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the public. Ability to use a personal computer and other office equipment.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Must be able to obtain State of Georgia Class “C” vehicle operator’s with five years or more directly related experience.
- Previous commercial driving experience is preferred but is not required.
- Automotive mechanic experience preferred.
