CDL Class A Spotter​/Yard jockey

Responsibilities of a Spotter/Yard Jockey

* Responsible for pre and post trip inspections of all tractors and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations.

* Ensure all trailers and containers are moved, parked, stored and secured accordingly within the recycling or storage yards.

* Communicate any safety or equipment issues with management.

* Operate effectively and safely on all staging areas, parking surfaces, and roads.

* Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

* Observe all safety procedures.

Qualifications of a Spotter/Yard Jockey

* High School diploma, GED Certification, or equivalent work experience.

* Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.

* Three (3) plus years' experience of roll-off and/or tractor trailer experience.

* Clear, MVR ,PSP and Clearing House.

* Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

* Must pass DOT Physical/Drug Screen

* Must pass Background Check

Candidates may not have more than 2 moving violations within the past 2 years for consideration.
