The regional Truck Driver safety and efficiently completed regional deliveries with care, professionalism, and precision.
The CDL A Driveris responsible for executing same-day pickup and delivery (P&D) operations within a defined geographic area, ensuring safe,timely, andaccuratetransportation of freight.
This role requires a safety-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality, professional service. Drivers are expected to manage multiple stops per shift,maintainaccurateshipment documentation, and represent DSV professionally at all customer interactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDrives semi-tractor/trailers for up to 11 hours after 10 hoursoff-dutyon runs of up to one week or more.
Backs trailers to customer dock.
Maintains compliance with Federal and State safety regulations and safe and professional driving behavior.
Communicates with customer representatives in pleasant, respectful, and efficient manner.
Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers.
Complies withall DOT requirements including drug and alcohol testing (subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing).
Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.
Ensure that any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving.
Swings andsecurestrailer doors.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications& ExperienceValid CDL A License required
Minimum 2 years of CDL A driving experience within the last 4 years (3+ years preferred)
Must meet DOT qualification requirements (FMCSR 391.41)
No positive drug or alcohol testresults in the past five (5) yrs.
No accident involving bodily injury within the last three (3) yrs.
Experience in local P&D operations, multi-stop routing, and urban driving environments preferred
Strong understanding of load securement and freight handling
Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS and route planning tools
Demonstrated customer service skills and professionalism in customer-facing environments
Experience handling high-value or sensitive freight preferred
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
TWIC card (or ability to obtain within
90 days, if required)
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required tooperatea commercial vehicle and perform physical freight handling activities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Sit for extended periods whileoperatinga commercial vehicle
Use hands and fingers tooperatesteering wheel, controls, GPS, and electronic logging devices
Frequently enter and exit the cab (4–6 feet) multiple times per shift
Lift, carry, push, and pull freight ranging from 1–125 pounds (team lift or equipment-assisted when required)
