Dispatcher, Transportation

• Schedule drivers' routes and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries
• Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and set up/distribute runs to drivers
• Ensure drivers count money collected and record delivery times on bills
• Work with Parts Pullers to ensure deliveries go out correctly
• Coordinate with drivers so they know the correct route
• Update customers by phone on the status of their orders
• Assist drivers who have difficulty with routes or other aspects of the job
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must meet company insurance requirements; drivers must be 21 years old or over

• Maintain and promote workplace safety
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets

Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills to effectively schedule and coordinate deliveries while maintaining attention to detail and productivity in a fast-paced environment. Familiar with warehouse safety measures and capable of managing cash securely.
