Lynden Logistics is looking for an Operations Agent to support our Domestic Operations team in Atlanta, GA
. As our Operations Agent, you'll support the full life cycle of domestic freight shipments, from quoting and routing through final delivery, helping customers move freight safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a safety sensitive position.
Pay Range:
$21–$27 per hour.
Position
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime and schedule flexibility based on business needs.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinate domestic shipments from initial customer request through final delivery.
- Obtain rates, secure spot quotes, and select transportation solutions that meet customer timelines and budget requirements.
- Prepare shipment documentation, including bills of lading, labels, and other supporting documents.
- Track and trace shipments, communicate status updates, and proactively address delays or service disruptions.
- Review shipment charges, carrier invoices, and customer billing information for accuracy.
- Collaborate with carriers, vendors, customers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure freight moves smoothly through the transportation process.
- Assist with warehouse activities such as receiving, scanning, weighing, measuring, staging, loading, unloading, and releasing freight as business needs require.
- Investigate shipment issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions to resolve customer concerns.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready shipment records while ensuring compliance with TSA requirements, hazardous materials procedures, customer SOPs, and company standards.

- Knowledge of freight documentation, shipment routing, and transportation operations.
