Truck Driver Local Deliveries in Atlanta

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Atlanta. Our company specializes in local deliveries and we are looking for a committed individual to handle the transportation of goods within the city.

• Drive trucks with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport goods from warehouses to designated locations
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Comply with traffic laws and company policies for safe driving practices
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers customers and other drivers on the road

• Valid commercial drivers license CDL with clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver preferably in local deliveries
• Familiarity with Atlanta roads and traffic patterns
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate manual or electric equipment for loading unloading
• Basic math skills for recording and verifying delivery quantities
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
