Inventory Control Technician (Consolidator) - 2nd shiftTrane Technologies is looking for an Inventory Distribution Technician–Consolidator to join our team at our Atlanta, GA location. The PIV equipment used includes forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers.
This is a full‑time, direct hire position with Trane Technologies (not a temp position). The role is designated as Safety Sensitive. Hours are 2:30–11:00 p EST (2nd shift) and may require periodic weekend/evening work. This position reports directly to the Distribution Inventory Manager.

- Safely operate PIV equipment (forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers) to load, unload, sort, stack, and stage product.
- Locate and pick material into/out of warehouse racks and between locations.
- Ensure that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition.
- Work with local and regional freight companies.
- Stock and arrange product to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Enter inventory into software system.
- Ensure accuracy of part number, quantity, and other data field entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, and location; resolve discrepancies as necessary.
- Ensure pallets are stable, have appropriate height, and are free of damage.
- Prioritize the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to meet customer needs.
- Perform training, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience with consolidation is highly preferred.
- High school diploma/GED not required.
- Some warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
