Position: Inventory Control Technician (Consolidator) -2nd shift

Inventory Control Technician (Consolidator) - 2nd shift

This is a full time, direct hire position with Trane Technologies. This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive. This is a 2nd shift position and the hours are 2:30-11:00 p.m. EST. Periodic weekend/evening work may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operates PIV equipment (forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers) to load, unload, sort, stack, and stage product.
  • Locates and picks material into/out of warehouse racks and between locations.
  • Ensure that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition.
  • Work with local and regional freight companies.
  • Stock and arrange product to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Enter inventory into the software system.
  • Ensure accuracy of part number, quantity, and other data field entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, and location; resolve discrepancies as necessary.
  • Ensure pallets are stable, have appropriate height, and are free of damage.
  • Prioritize the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to meet customer needs.
  • Perform training, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned.
  • Previous experience with consolidation is highly preferred.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED not required
  • Some warehouse and forklift experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must have a valid driver's license
