Warehouse Associate; Weekend

Overview

Warehouse Associate – 3PL. The Associate will assist the growing organization by performing various warehouse activities such as receiving, picking, packing, loading, and unloading product.

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Report discrepancies as needed
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment preventively
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Process, pack, and ship orders accurately
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to show sound judgment and initiative to accomplish assigned duties/responsibilities without close supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel
• Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Warehouse Management System

• Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule (16-20 hours per week) with at least a 48 hour notice
• Detail oriented
• Positive “can do” attitude
• Support a workplace culture of “Safety/Quality/Productivity” priorities
• Learn/adhere to expectations for standard operating procedures & “Stop/Call/Wait” methodology
• Excellent attendance and punctuality

• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for walking/standing long periods of time within a large warehouse environment
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 lbs. on a repetitive basis
• Pick up to 40 units per hour
• Able to see/speak/hear appropriately in a warehouse environment, supporting a safe workplace

• Must be 18 years of age or older
