Inventory Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Receive purchase orders and service order forms.
• Ship and receive material daily while keeping the warehouse organized.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receipt logs.
• Execute procedures for material receipts, issues, and transfers.
• Notify project coordinators when job‑cost project materials arrive.
• Receive materials in ACE using the ACE PO Browser screen.
• Transfer inventory to TR sub‑inventories, other districts, or job costing.
• Reconcile material from job costing and customer credit returns.
• Handle mis‑shipments with TSP, vendors, or carriers.
• Coordinate RMA requests and process credit returns for excess, warranty, or repair material.
• Maintain hard‑copy paper flows to validate transfers within ACE.
• Monitor inventory integrity.
• Assist the material coordinator as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed.

• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, excellent follow‑through, and an ability to learn quickly.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with technicians, office staff, and centralized dispatcher.
• Excellent computer and mathematical skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of purchasing or inventory experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass a drug and background check.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Hourly rate: $23–31, determined by education, experience, skills, and market data. Competitive benefits package is included.
