The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping activities. This role helps ensure materials and products are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
- Label, tag, and track inventory and shipments as needed
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and staging materials for delivery or pickup
- Report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns to management
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all time
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or warehouse management systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Dependable work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
