Job SummaryThe Receiving Technician coordinates daily activities of the Receiving Department, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of deliveries from vendors and carriers. This role maintains security to help prevent loss and damage to incoming and outgoing materials and supplies.

PayStarting Pay: $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities- Maintain security of the receiving department and loading dock
- Maintain accurate files and records for shipped, received, and delivered materials
- Replenish medical gas and prepare deliveries for staging
- Inspect incoming freight for damages, defects, or discrepancies
- Verify accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders in the MMIS system
- Receive incoming materials, supplies, and equipment efficiently and accurately
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to operate an RF scanner and pallet jack
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse distribution, or inventory control preferred
- Ability to work independently or with supervision
- Must be able to frequently move, transport, and position materials weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Must be able to frequently position self to perform warehouse tasks
- Primarily a warehouse environment
- Often works indoors but may occasionally work outdoors
- May be exposed to sounds and noise levels that can be distracting or uncomfortable
- Work near others and often sharing the same workspace
