Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead manages and coordinates shift operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and returns processing. The position is scheduled for the 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with training of new employees.
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse staff during the designated shift.
  • Ensure all positions are staffed and work assignments are assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive and record new inventory as it is delivered; inspect and store it according to policy.
  • Conduct physical inventory, compare results to computerized inventory, and reconcile any differences.
  • Print, assign, and schedule picker tickets.
  • Assist with daily tasks where needed from the team.
  • Replenish stock and inventory as needed.
  • Ensure that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
  • Correctly assign location for warehouse inventory material in the inventory management system.
  • Schedule materials being transferred to and from the warehouse; coordinate transfer of inventory between departments.
  • Monitor expenditures and implement corrective actions if needed.
  • Enforce operating instructions and safety policies.
  • Resolve routine equipment issues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop/modify/update BOMs in Rootstock.
  • Complete Rootstock daily movements.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Forklift operation.
  • Proficiency with data entry and inventory software and systems.
Education and Experience
  • At least six months of experience in distribution or manufacturing.
  • At least one year of forklift experience.
  • Supervisor/manager experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
