Warehouse Shift Supervisor
The Warehouse Shift Supervisor is responsible for all phases of facility storage and shipping operations in a safe and efficient manner. They are responsible for the supervision of Material Handlers assigned to shift.
You Will
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff by planning, assigning, and directing work to meet operational, safety, and quality goals.
- Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts, physical inventories, and investigation of discrepancies.
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy, proper documentation, and timely processing.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and proper storage of materials in designated locations following FIFO practices.
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations with production, quality, logistics, and other departments to support overall site performance.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, food safety, GMP, ISO, and company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, customers, and vendors to support workflow and resolve issues.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and shift coordination while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and site programs.
You Have
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to work 12 hour night shift
- 3–5 years warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of GMP, Lean, and quality procedures
- Proficiency with SAP and computer systems
- Self-motivated with flexible, team-oriented mindset
