The Assistant Storekeeper III is a senior-level materials management professional responsible for leading materials support operations, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic planning initiatives.
With 10+ years of experience, this role provides leadership to materials teams, ensures operational excellence, and serves as a subject matter expert in warehouse, logistics, and inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & OperationsLead and manage materials support teams and complex warehouse projects
Provide direction for daily materials operations and customer service functions
Mentor and guide junior staff and support specialists
Promote a safe and efficient work environment
Set strategic direction for materials support operations
Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and inventory accuracy
Collaborate with senior management on long‑term planning and capital investments
Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain and warehouse performance
Oversee inventory control, storage, and distribution processes
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives in materials handling and logistics
Represent the organization at industry conferences and professional events
Contribute to research and development initiatives related to materials technologies
Stay current on emerging material technologies and best practices
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to work in warehouse and materials handling environments
10+ years of experience in materials management, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles
Proven leadership experience managing teams and operations
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Leadership and management certifications
Advanced supply chain management or logistics certifications
Certified Forklift Operator
Continuing education in materials technology or warehouse best practices
