OverviewWarehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Operations by handling materials, product distribution, and inventory management. Responsibilities include manual or automated tasks for receipt, storage, and shipment of products.
Job SummaryAssociate II, Warehouse Ops assists on inbound or outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards. The role involves receiving (inbound) and shipping (outbound) products.
Responsibilities- Unload trucks in the inbound section using a pallet jack or equivalent device.
- Use the AIMS Warehouse Management System to check in products.
- Follow regulations for refrigerated specialty products.
- Store products in warehouse locations using an order picker or other device.
- Pick products from warehouse locations and load them into outbound trucks.
- 1–2 years of experience preferred.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for the entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working with heights 20–30ft regularly.
- Reach truck experience highly preferred.
Apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks; read and apply new information and methods; maintain appropriate licenses, training and certifications; work on routine assignments that may require some problem resolution; follow standard operating procedures; adhere to quality guidelines; work under moderate supervision; review output by a work lead or supervisor; refer complex problems to a supervisor.
