What you'll be doing day to dayAs an Equipment Maintenance Mechanic, contributing to the efficient flow and maintenance of material handling equipment batteries for the Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will:
- Perform the maintenance of material handling equipment batteries.
- Adhere to the maintenance schedule and operating procedures for watering and washing batteries, cables, and connections.
- Perform audits related to the integrity and condition of batteries and battery related equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in all material handling equipment storage and maintenance locations within the fulfilment unit.
- Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is strong and embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

The pay range for this role is $19.57 - $27.83

QUALIFICATIONSPrevious material handling equipment experience preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Requirements- Ability to lift, sit, stand, and walk for length of shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 10 USD to 20 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
