Position: Groundskeeper C - Full Time (Caesars Atlantic City)

Groundskeeper Lead Apprentice Engineer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Understands and responds to internal guests needs. Communicates in a friendly, respectful and understandable manner. Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answer when unsure. Uses outlined service behaviors when encountering guests. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department's service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods. Is a team player, cooperates with employees within the department as well as other departments.

Speaks positively about the company, co-workers and guests.

Responsible for the general cleaning and maintenance, removal of debris from the external grounds area of property to include, but not limited to docks, garages, walks, rooftops, parking lots etc. Operates necessary tools and equipment (including heavy sit-on equipment such as street sweepers) to accomplish same. Performs casual labor or emergency functions at employer's discretion. Delivers supplies and materials as requested.

Drives company vehicles and participates in the removal of snow on the property. Keeps Lead informed of inventory on all materials and equipment needed to perform job duties Completes special assignments for management as requested. Assist with Apprentice training.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/

EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalency certificate. Requires a minimum of one-year general work experience in ground maintenance area. Must have a valid New Jersey Driver's License. Requires a safe driving record having less than 6 points on an individual's driving record.
