Facilities Maintenance Assistant

Job Overview

This position is primarily responsible for completing Facilities Work Ticket Requests assigned by the Director of Facilities. Tasks will include minor repairs, water filter replacement, equipment maintenance, and project coordination with subcontractors in the Grit Coffee shops, Wool Factory event space, Broadcloth, Workshop, Grit Roastery, Selvedge Brewing, and Snowing In Space Coffee.

Bread and Table will provide the necessary tools and a work van to complete the assigned work. The schedule is flexible and subject to change as needed.

• Complete Facilities Work Ticket Requests assigned by the Director of Facilities.
• Perform minor repairs, water filter replacement, equipment maintenance, and project coordination.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for projects in the listed spaces:
  Grit Coffee shops, Wool Factory event space, Broadcloth, Workshop, Grit Roastery, Selvedge Brewing, and Snowing In Space Coffee.

• Experience with hand tools
• Problem solving
• Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems
• Ability to lift objects at least 50 lbs

• Mandatory weekly 1×1 meeting with direct supervisor.

• Hourly: $23-$26 per hour
• 20-30 hours per week
• Weekly schedule and hours will be discussed and agreed upon during the interview and hiring process.
