Maintenance Manager
Our client, a well‑established and growing manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations within a high‑volume production facility. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader comfortable with high‑level decision‑making, team management, and continuous improvement. This permanent role is integral to operations and requires a professional with strong preventive maintenance, facility management, project management, budgeting, and team leadership skills.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all maintenance operations in the foundry, ensuring all machinery and equipment are in optimal condition.
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Manage facility operations, ensuring the infrastructure is secure, efficient, and well‑maintained.
- Lead and oversee projects such as new installations, upgrades, and repairs.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost‑effectiveness.
- Lead a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Use expertise in welding, hydraulics, and PLC programming to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all operations comply with OSHA standards and maintain a safe work environment.
- Manage hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience in a foundry or similar environment.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance, facility management, and project management.
- Strong budgeting skills and experience managing budgets.
- Demonstrated team leadership and high‑performing team experience.
- Expertise in welding, hydraulics, and PLC programming.
- Experience in process improvement with track record of driving efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Solid understanding of OSHA compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Preferred: A degree in Engineering or related field.
