Job Description
Summary:
Seeking an RS Avionics Installer II to assist with installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components for aircraft.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or two years related work experience, or an avionics certificate with one year of related work experience
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
- Computer skills and general software knowledge necessary
- Familiarity with all types of wire terminations and wire routing
Preferred
Skills:
- Corporate aircraft experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components according to blueprints, worksheets, engineering drawings
- Maintain required logs and records
- Complete tasks within allotted time frame
- Ensure work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications
- Check all work for defects prior to final inspection
- Comply with FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and safety regulations
- Care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by Supervisor
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
