RS Avionics Installer II

Job Description

Summary:

Seeking an RS Avionics Installer II to assist with installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components for aircraft.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or two years related work experience, or an avionics certificate with one year of related work experience
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
• Computer skills and general software knowledge necessary
• Familiarity with all types of wire terminations and wire routing

Preferred

Skills:

• Corporate aircraft experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components according to blueprints, worksheets, engineering drawings
• Maintain required logs and records
• Complete tasks within allotted time frame
• Ensure work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications
• Check all work for defects prior to final inspection
• Comply with FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and safety regulations
• Care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by Supervisor
• Participate in continuous improvement activities

Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
