The Opportunity
We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Housekeeping Supervisor
What You Will Do
- Ensure team members meet all quality and regulatory standards by planning and directing all activities related to housekeeping and laundry departments.
- Recruit, hire and orient new team members, along with provide on-going training and support.
- Monitor supplies, payroll, facility specific, compliance and team member issues, including responding to calls after hours and weekends PRN to ensure adequate staffing and supplies.
- Make rounds in the facility to ensure employees are following state and federal regulatory standards to perform basic housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning windows and scouring bathrooms.
- Respond to customer complaints or inquiries immediately and report and problems to immediate supervisor.
- Notify facility of any accidents or problems while rendering service
- Duties as assigned
What You Must Have
- Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus)
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and procedures
