Position: Hospital Custodial Worker I

Overview

Riverview Psychiatric Center — Hospital Custodial Worker (Housekeeping). This position provides internal and external custodial services for the hospital, including cleaning and maintaining patient areas and facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver food carts and clean residential and grounds areas, including patient bedrooms, dayrooms, dining areas, bathrooms, corridors, and program areas.
  • Shovel, sand, move furniture, and escort contractors to specific work locations as needed.
  • Assist patients in learning general custodial tasks.
  • Physical work environment; on-the-job training is provided.
Qualifications
  • Experience demonstrating housekeeping skills and the physical capacity to perform a variety of custodial tasks.

Augusta, Maine. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or STEM OPT extensions.
