Warehouse Sanitation, Cleaning

Position Purpose

We value the safety and health of our associates. The Sanitation, Warehouse team ensures the health and safety of all associates by maintaining a clean and safe workplace. This role performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in warehouse facilities, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. Similar duties may be performed in office areas as assigned.

• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Report all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
• Handle all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules timely and accurately.
• Operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles (if required).
• Complete all assignments timely and accurately.
• Handle cleaning chemicals as required (if necessary).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Break / repack full cases into small cases in a timely and efficient manner to reduce spoilage and lost inventory.
• Recycle plastic and cardboard as needed.

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning, or janitorial work experience.
• Sunday through Thursday shifts; 7:00 AM start time.

• 1+ years general sanitation, cooler cleaning, or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.
