Warehouse Sanitation

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation associate to keep our high-volume food distribution facility clean, safe, and audit-ready. In this role, you will perform routine and deep cleaning of warehouse floors, docks, racks, restrooms, and break areas, following strict food safety and OSHA standards. You'll handle waste and recyclables, operate industrial cleaning equipment, and document sanitation activities. Working closely with operations and safety teams, you'll help ensure a safe, efficient environment that supports PFG's nationwide customers and performance-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, docks, and storage areas to food safety standards
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces, restrooms, and break areas on a defined schedule
• Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash, cardboard, and recyclables
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment such as scrubbers, vacuums, and power washers
• Restock cleaning and sanitation supplies and report low inventory levels
• Follow OSHA, company safety, and PPE requirements at all times
• Assist in spill response and cleanup to minimize slip and contamination risks
• Inspect areas for hazards or spills and report maintenance or safety issues
• Document cleaning tasks and logs per company and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with warehouse and safety teams to support efficient operations
