Magna Golf Club, one of Canada's most exclusive private clubs located in Aurora, Ontario, is looking for a seasonal (from May to October)
Line Cook to join our Culinary team.

If you are an individual that has a deep passion for Culinary Arts, positive attitude and enjoys working with a team of goal oriented individuals, we want to hear from you. The successful candidate will also possess a desire to both grow professionally and mentor within the Culinary team.

• Be able to follow recipes.
• Daily station and fridge inventory.
• Full station preparation for service.
• Maintain and deliver the same standards set forth by the Executive Chef and Sous-Chef.
• Practice effective methods of food preparation and cooking, sizes of portions and garnishing of dishes.
• Maintains standards for receiving and storing food.
• Recognizes products, presentations, and flavors of superior quality.

• Have a minimum of 1-2 years’ previous culinary experience in a full-service restaurant or banquet facility.
• Be dedicated to a high level and standard of food quality.
• Be highly creative and motivated.
• Have exceptional attention to detail.
• Be an effective communicator and love working in a team environment.
• Be able to work well under pressure and independently.
• Have flexible full-time availability; holiday, evening and weekend shifts are required.
• Have a reliable form of transportation to and from work.
