• Prepare and serve proper meals on time and maintain safe, sanitary work areas.
• Check special diet orders for new admissions and correct as required.
• Respond to resident or family member concerns and take appropriate action.
• Direct Food Services Workers in performance of duties and assume responsibility for operation of Food Services Department.

• Prior experience as a Cook, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Current provincial Safe Food Handling Certificate.
• High school education preferred; minimum public‑school education required.
• Diploma/certificate or equivalent in quality food preparation and production.
