Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
Job Description
This role is responsible for meeting customer expectations through the execution of high‑quality inspections. The position performs routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance across safety product lines, including comparable products from competitive manufacturers. Responsibilities include identifying additional products or services that customers are not currently utilizing.
The role requires organizing and effectively leveraging technical resources, information, materials, and support to ensure efficient completion of all assigned tasks. The individual will work with low‑voltage devices to support the operation of low‑voltage equipment.
The position involves learning to complete service requests using proper coding through communication devices, adhering to and maintaining a highly structured inspection schedule, and accurately inputting, retrieving, and archiving inspection documentation via a laptop computer. All assigned inspections must be completed on time. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

- Experienced Inspector in fire alarm systems or sprinkler systems
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and specifications
- Experience with hand tools. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work on lifts and ladders.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. NICET certification preferred but not required.
- CSA Certification
- Backflow Certification
