Position: 3rd Shift DC Automation & Maintenance Technician I ($27.00)

Job Overview

In this role, you’ll spend your day working with a team to keep the facility and equipment running smoothly—handling maintenance and repairs, responding to issues quickly, supporting projects across the building, and preventing problems before they happen. You’ll partner closely with IT, HR, Facilities, and Operations to solve problems and keep things on track.

Schedule and Compensation

Schedule:

DC Automation & Maintenance Associate on our 3rd shift. Hours are M‑F from 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM.

Pay:
Hourly or Incentive Bonus. Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification (training provided).

Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in maintenance, automation, or a similar technical role
  • Experience with automated systems, conveyors, or robotics preferred / required
  • Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
  • Hands‑on experience using tools to troubleshoot, repair and resolve maintenance issues
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including the ability to use systems/software to track and manage work
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Proven ability to work in a team‑oriented environment
  • Strong work ethic with demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and integrity
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on increasing efficiency and improving processes
  • Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements
  • Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands
Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility, grounds, building systems, equipment, and Auto Store system; monitor performance and respond to issues as they arise.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, generators, and other equipment) to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Maintain and coordinate required testing and service for Fire/Life Safety systems, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the facility, including lighting, minor repairs, cleaning, and general upkeep of interior and exterior spaces.
  • Support day‑to‑day facility needs, including associate moves, equipment/furniture setup, spill cleanup, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and ongoing services (landscaping, janitorial, waste removal, etc.).
  • Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas, including storage, warehouse, and maintenance spaces; properly maintain and store tools and equipment.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation for building systems and equipment.
  • Identify, report, and address safety hazards, and follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Employment Conditions

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screening and background check.

Pay Range

$20.40 – $33.45 per hour. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible.
