As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. In addition to developing your skills, you will mentor junior technicians.

Key job responsibilities- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and more.
- Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving up to 49 lbs, standing and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climbing ladders and gangways safely, and bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- 2+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- 2+ years of experience demonstrating safety standards.
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
- 2+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles.
- Associate’s degree in a related field or a technical degree in mechatronics.
- 2+ years of mechanical or electrical apprenticeship experience.
