Maintenance Mechanic I

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to support the maintenance and reliability of automated equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow their maintenance career.

Aurora, CO

Pay: $32.50hr (non negotiable)

Candidates do not need to have held a formal maintenance title. We welcome applicants who have gained troubleshooting, repair, and diagnostic experience through roles such as machine operation, production, manufacturing, equipment operation, facilities support, automotive repair, military service, or other hands-on technical positions.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities
• Respond to equipment issues and restore systems to operational status
• Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance concerns
• Document repairs, work orders, and maintenance activities accurately
• Follow safety procedures and maintenance best practices
• Support continuous improvement efforts to increase equipment reliability

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, diagnosing, or maintaining equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures and safety guidelines
• Comfortable working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical systems
• Maintenance experience in a production, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment
• Vocational training, technical certification, or related education
• Experience performing preventive maintenance

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.

Pay and Benefits
