Ludwig and Company, a reputable Illinois-based property management firm with communities across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Full-Time Janitor / Light Maintenance team member for our 102-unit apartment community in Aurora, IL.
This position plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Janitor will be responsible for daily cleaning, minor repairs, and support with general upkeep of the property.
Compensation and Schedule- Pay Rate: $15.00–$16.00/hour (based on experience)

Full-time, Monday–Friday - Location:
Aurora, IL
- Clean and maintain common areas: hallways, stairwells, restrooms, offices, windows, and community spaces
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs
- Remove snow from building entrances and walkways
- Set up community rooms for resident, staff, or group use
- Pick up and deliver supplies and materials as needed
- Conduct seasonal tasks including weeding and light groundskeeping
- Use cleaning tools and supplies safely and efficiently
- Adhere to established cleaning and maintenance schedules
- Report completed tasks and issues to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Interact professionally with residents, staff, and visitors
- Prior janitorial or general maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and snow shoveling
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Background check and drug screening required in accordance with applicable federal and state laws
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be able to work in poor weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service and effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver License.
