Maintenance Director

The Avenue at Aurora is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility offering a distinctive experience not commonly found in traditional care settings. We’re looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Director to lead facility upkeep and ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for our residents and staff. If you’re hands-on, organized, and safety-focused, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Duties:

• Implement and oversee facility maintenance programs

• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and supervise repairs

• Train and supervise maintenance staff

• Maintain safety documentation and lead safety drills

• Ensure proper equipment care and waste disposal procedures

• Collaborate with staff and service providers to meet resident needs

• Maintain compliance with infection control and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred
  - Higher training preferred as well

• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate maintenance equipment safely

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused

• Experience with safety protocols and documentation
