POSITION SUMMARY: This 3rd shift position provides technical support to the maintenance supervisor and maintenance department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist maintenance supervisor and team in coordinating and prioritizing all necessary PM (preventative maintenance) activities for the machine shop
• Assist maintenance supervisors in parts identification and issuing of requisitions into the SRM system to maintain replacement maintenance supplies and parts
• Assist / establish and maintain an accurate maintenance / supply crib physical inventory and replenishment program. (RRM and ABP maintenance cribs)
• Must be able to repair minor electrical issues 110v/120v.
• Perform minor electrical repairs in the office / administrative building.
• Perform repairs to office plumbing including drain clean outs.
• Make minor office HVAC repairs.
• Communicate operations / department needs with supervisor / manager.
• Work with and coordinate activities professionally with outside vendors for all activities as delegated by maintenance supervisors
• Work proficiently in Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift 75lbs
• Ability to work overtime or weekends as needed
• Perform 5S responsibilities in all focus areas of the operation
• Assist in performing identified cost savings and reductions
• Perform safety audits when required
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Mathematical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions and decimals. Good communication skills and reading comprehension. Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software applications.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Training or job related experience in diesel, gas and propane engine repair. Training or job experience in plumbing, electrical and HVAC. CDL preferred.

EXPORT CONTROL: This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.

Hourly wage: $30.96
Shift Differential: $1.50
