Ellington public schools is currently accepting applications for substitute custodians for the 2025-26 school year.
QualificationsSuccessful candidate must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the position. While performing the duties and responsibilities of this position, candidate must be able to sit, walk, stand, lift, and move items as needed. Successful candidate must be able to take direction and work independently. Successful candidate will be required to submit to a state and national criminal history check as well as a DCF review.
WorkingConditions
Substitute custodians will be paid at the rate of $16.82/hr there are no additional benefits. Assignments will be made through the district's Maintenance Department.
