Maintenance Technician Day Shift - Austell

Overview

The technician is responsible for providing mechanical and other maintenance support to maintain the respective ABW facility and all equipment. The technician uses the electronic work order system to establish and maintain priority for their activities. This position provides daily maintenance support for all warehousing equipment in and around the warehouse facility. They consistently demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems as well as resolve any other mechanical and/or technical problems.

• Know and follow ABW’s safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Perform scheduled PMs according to equipment specification.
• Repair and maintain equipment in and around the warehouse.
• Follow Mars Protocol for LOTO and Hot Work.
• Work overtime hours as needed to meet objectives.

• Ability to troubleshoot and understand basic mechanical components.
• Fork Lift certification and basic understanding of forklift components.
• Basic welding skills.
• Basic computer skills.

• High school graduate or equivalent GED.
