Location: PICKLE RESEARCH CAMPUS
Purpose: Provide custodial services for Applied Research Laboratories.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, sweep, mop, dust and scrub tile work and floors, stairways, hallways, restrooms, offices and labs.
- Wax and polish floors.
- Clean up after lab events.
- Move furniture and equipment.
- Other related functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Six months of experience in custodial maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain a professional demeanor, work as a team member and effectively communicate with all groups of clients.
- Must be able to accommodate a work schedule of 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- Able to accept supervision.
- Regular and punctual attendance.
- Will be working in a restricted area and applicant selected may be subject to appropriate security measures.
- Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
US Citizen. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the level appropriate to the project requirements of the position.
General Notes: Applicant selected for this position MUST be able to work a standard shift of 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM.
Salary Range: $38,480 – $39,000+ (negotiable depending on qualifications).
Working Conditions:
- May work around chemical fumes, chemicals, electrical and mechanical hazards.
- Use of manual dexterity, climbing stairs, lifting and moving, frequent use of broom/mop/buffing machine.
- Job is performed while walking and standing most of the time, bending and lifting required, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
