Trash Technician

We are hiring immediately for a full time TRASH TECHNICIAN position.

Location:

Dell Children's Medical Center – 4900 Mueller Boulevard, Austin, TX 78723. (Online applications only.)

Schedule:

Full time (Days may vary, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM). Rotating weekends and holidays.

Required:

Prior trash technician experience preferred.

Pay:
Fixed $16.00 per hour.

Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

• Identify, transport, and dispose of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Perform cleaning functions as assigned, properly operating cleaning equipment.
• Recognize safety hazards and act accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
