Watch Technician – Luxury Timepieces (Austin, Texas)

As Investment Watches continues to scale, we are looking for a Watch Technician to support our service and authentication operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical ability and attention to detail who enjoys working with luxury timepieces in a fast‑paced environment.

We specialize in sourcing, authenticating, servicing, and trading some of the most exclusive watches in the world, including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, and other prestigious brands.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform diagnostics, testing, and technical evaluations on luxury timepieces
  • Handle bracelet sizing, adjustments, battery replacements, and pressure testing
  • Assist with movement swaps, basic servicing, and technical repairs
  • Support authentication and quality control processes
  • Inspect watches for cosmetic and mechanical condition
  • Perform refinishing and polishing work when applicable
  • Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and inventory
  • Help ensure efficient workflow across service and operations teams
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong technical aptitude and hands‑on ability
  • Highly detail‑oriented with a focus on precision and consistency
  • Able to work independently while following established procedures
  • Organized, reliable, and efficient in a fast‑paced environment
  • Passion for luxury watches and craftsmanship
  • Professional attitude with strong accountability
  • Clear communication skills and fluency in English
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with watches, jewelry, electronics, or other precision technical products preferred
  • Watchmaking education or technical certification is a strong advantage
  • Experience with luxury watches is preferred but not required for the right candidate
  • Experience with polishing and refinishing is a plus
  • Strong mechanical understanding and willingness to learn
