Contents Technician
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Pay starts at $17/hour with possibility of overtime. Automatic $1.00 raise after completing 6‑month probationary period. PTO and paid holidays after probationary period.

The Contents Technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment, as well as an assigned service vehicle. By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the Contents Technician represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry. Primary Responsibilities- Perform production processes with a focus on packing up customers’ contents to bring them to our shop for cleaning utilizing various tools and techniques including ultrasonic cleaning, Esporta washing, ozone treatment, etc. to clean and restore peoples belongings following disasters like floods or fires.
- Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
- Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area for each project.
- Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
- Communicate with Contents Manager and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
- Perform end‑of‑day/end‑of‑job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
- Great attention to detail.
- Sense of time, and ability to manage it well.
- Organization skills.
- Enjoy cleaning and see the end results.
- Effective oral communication with basic math and computer skills.
- Experience in cleaning/restoration is a plus.
- High school diploma/GED.
- IICRC certifications a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
- Ability to sit, stand, walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
Starts at $17/hour with possibility of overtime pay and increases based on merit. Automatic $1.00 raise after completing 6‑month probationary period, paid time off, and paid holidays.
