We’re looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at Mueller, an award-winning master-planned urban village in the heart of Austin, Texas.

In this role, you’ll help ensure the safety, functionality, and long-term reliability of community facilities, amenities, and infrastructure. You’ll serve as a technical resource for maintenance operations while supporting team members, contractors, and community partners in maintaining the high standards residents expect.

What You’ll Do

Perform Advanced Maintenance & Repairs
  • Perform maintenance and repair work across building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues using sound judgment and technical expertise
  • Complete preventative and corrective maintenance activities to support community operations
  • Ensure facilities, equipment, and infrastructure remain safe, functional, and well-maintained
Lead Maintenance Operations
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to maintenance team members
  • Assist with training, work prioritization, and coordination of daily maintenance activities
  • Help establish and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and performance
  • Serve as a resource for technical problem-solving and operational support
Manage Preventative Maintenance Programs
  • Develop, schedule, and execute preventative maintenance programs
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential risks
  • Monitor asset performance and recommend improvements that extend equipment life and reduce downtime
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and repair documentation
Coordinate Vendors & Projects
  • Coordinate contractor and vendor activities, including scheduling, materials, and quality control
  • Assist with project planning, estimating, and scope development
  • Monitor work to ensure compliance with community standards and expectations
  • Support facility improvement projects and community asset maintenance initiatives
Support Community Operations
  • Participate in emergency response, safety initiatives, and operational support activities
  • Collaborate with team members, vendors, and community partners to resolve issues efficiently
