Position: TRASH TECHNICIAN (PART TIME)

Position Details

We are hiring immediately for a part‑time Trash Technician position. No experience required; we will train you. Fixed Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Dell Seton Medical Center at UT, 1500 Red River Street, Austin, TX 78701.

Part‑time; 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Days may vary. Weekends required.

Job Summary

Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio‑hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio‑hazardous materials using appropriate safety procedures.
Performs cleaning functions as assigned and operates cleaning equipment as designated.
Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
