Job Position Description
This position is a shift at a school from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Hourly pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour.

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools, and procedures.
• Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, moving furniture and equipment, etc.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE when required.
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable the security system as required.
• Will provide on‑the‑job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and be dependable, on time, and in uniform.
• Respect and understand co‑workers and customers.
• Communicate in English.

• 1–2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required.
• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and flexible, fast‑paced, multitasking job performance.

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over the head, and reaching forward.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
