Engineering Supervisor

An Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for shift coverage and must possess strong troubleshooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front‑of‑the‑house areas, as well as back‑of‑the‑house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems. Proficiency with a Windows‑based computer system, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and strong leadership skills are required. Prior building maintenance experience is required and hotel experience is preferred.

A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life‑safety systems, and good communication skills are necessary. The position requires willingness to work different shifts as business demands dictate.

Shift coverage across all maintenance areas; troubleshooting and maintenance of building systems; leading and supervising maintenance staff; communicating with guests and coworkers; ensuring compliance with hotel standards and safety requirements; using computer systems to log work orders and maintenance reports.

• Comfortable standing the majority of an 8‑hour shift
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
• Prior building maintenance experience is required
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
