Service Manager

The Service Manager is a distinct leadership role that requires excellent customer service skills to build rapport with your team, residents, and vendors. The position serves as the backbone of the community and involves hands‑on oversight of daily service operations.

• Supervise a maintenance team and conduct building and annual unit inspections to meet local regulations.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to set expectations, meet deadlines, and maintain schedule integrity.
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to reduce emergency repairs.
• Manage budget guidelines for purchasing supplies and scheduling vendor services, following purchase order systems and bidding procedures.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert in all technical areas of property maintenance, providing mentorship and training to on‑site staff.
• Maintain an open‑mind and flexible approach to adapt to changing community needs.

• 3–5 years of experience in apartment maintenance.
• EPA Certification Type I and II.
