Job Description:

The agent will be responsible for carrying out the essential maintenance and upkeep tasks for the municipality's road infrastructure, as well as providing support to other technical services (green spaces and buildings).

• Maintain and perform initial maintenance on roads, water systems, sewage pumps, and production units
• Site signage and safety at construction sites
• Check the cleanliness of administrative and technical premises
• Routine maintenance and organization of equipment and tools used
• Performing manual handling tasks
• Carrying out minor construction work
• Participate in the setup and dismantling of community events (kermesses, communal celebrations, municipal council…)

• Participate in green space maintenance
• Salting roads during icy winter conditions

- Work indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions, all seasons, on foot or motorized
- Work alone or in a team.

- Wearing appropriate professional clothing (PPE: boots, gloves, goggles, helmet...) - Handling hazardous products
- Use of service vehicle for travel
- Responsibility in the use and storage of dangerous or polluting materials and products

Technical
- Know and apply road maintenance techniques (execution of pavement work, earthworks, clearances…) necessary for the proper maintenance of public roads
- Know and apply techniques related to water networks and sanitation
- Know and apply local practices for maintaining green spaces
- Know and apply safety rules related to activities, equipment, and cleaning products Know-how:

- Sense of listening and observation
- Punctuality, rigor
- Dynamism and responsiveness
- Diagnose the limit beyond which recourse to a specialist is indispensable
- Be autonomous in daily work organization but know how to refer to authority.
