Demonstration Plant Operator

The Role

The Demonstration Plant Operator performs operates, monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots demonstration equipment. We welcome all interested candidates to apply. As we work together to move this project forward, candidates should be informed of the following while considering the position:

• This is a contract position due to last 8 months (November 2025 through July 2026).
• The job includes on-the-job training for all functions.
• All new hires will be required to spend 3-5 weeks in Austin, Texas, for training.
• Per diem available during training period;
  EnergyX will cover all hotel costs during training.
• New hire orientation will take place in Hooks, Texas, ahead of the start date. All selected will be required to attend

Key Responsibilities

Demonstration Plant Operations

The position will work under a shift lead and work in a team of 8 people. Training will be included.

Administration

Instrument readouts are recorded and reported to a supervisor. The position requires showing up on time for the shift and notifying a supervisor if they are unable to make their shift. Working night shifts is available; individuals may need to fill in a rare night shift for a colleague.

Basic Qualifications

• Willingness to follow safety rules and conduct work in a safe manner

• Must be capable of standing throughout the working day
• Must be capable of lifting 25lbs
• Competitive hourly range ($20 – $30 per hour based on experience, and shift)
